Grab the Ask & Receive Study Guide Kit and start seeing your prayers answered. You'll go from "I wonder if God will do it" to "God already did it, and now I've got it." No more wishing and hoping. Just bold, confident prayers that take hold of everything Jesus already promised you. That's not hype. It's what the Greek behind His words actually says.

Can I guess how most of your prayers end?
"...if it be Your will." "...if it's meant to be." "...I know I probably don't deserve it, but."
You ask God for something, and then somewhere between the request and the amen, you talk yourself out of it. You ask, then you disqualify yourself.
I call it the 50-50 prayer. Heads He answers, tails He doesn't, and you've already braced for tails.
Nobody taught you to pray like that on purpose. But somewhere along the way you picked it up.
That God withholds. That asking for material things is selfish. That unanswered prayer just means "it wasn't His will."
So you learned to ask small, ask vague, and ask with an exit ramp built in.
Here's my problem with all of it. Jesus never described prayer as 50-50. Look at what He actually said:
Everyone. Are you an everyone?
The writer of Hebrews said you were invited to approach the throne boldly (Hebrews 4:16). Not sheepishly. Not with a backup plan.
And this isn't just about emergencies. It covers provision and healing, and it covers the dreams and callings God put in you that you've been too polite to ask about.
This isn't about praying harder or being good enough. It's about finally reading what the book actually says.
Why most Christians are wishing, not asking. The throne you were invited to approach boldly, and the ask-then-disqualify habit that's been strangling your prayers.
The Greek word Jesus used 66 times, the four English words that translate it better than "ask" ever could, and the receiving word that means grip, not catch.
The woman in Mark 5 who took her healing without permission, why power left Jesus before He decided anything, and what her grip proves about yours.
The butterfly prayer that almost broke my daughter's faith, what "asking amiss" actually means in context, and why every real ask can only end one of two ways.
A 15-page designed PDF. Printable, and made to live in your Bible.
Every scripture, definition, and footnote from all four sessions, laid out and ready. This is the version you teach from. Around the dinner table, with your kids, in your small group. You don't have to be a Greek scholar. The work is already done.
And before you ask: no, you don't need a quiet morning and a highlighter system to do this.
Watch on your phone in the pickup line. Read one page of the guide while dinner's in the oven. Do it out of order. Skip a day. You can do this imperfectly and it still counts.
This was built for real life, not for the version of you that has two free hours and a matching journal.

In Mark 5 there's a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years. She'd spent everything she had on doctors and only gotten worse.
She wasn't invited. She wasn't called forward. Under the law, she wasn't even supposed to be in that crowd.
And the scripture says power left Jesus before He decided anything. He turned around asking who touched Him.
Read that again slowly. If Jesus never got the chance to decide, what happened in that moment?
I walk through it verse by verse in the third video, because what that woman did with her hand is exactly what you were meant to do with your prayers.
And if you've spent your whole life assuming stories like hers are for other people, for the invited ones, the qualified ones, the front-row people, then hear me. She was none of those things.
This kit was built for the overwhelmed, the disqualified-feeling, the ones who ask with an exit ramp. Especially you.
Here's what sent me down this road in the first place. The Greek word Jesus used for "ask" shows up 66 times in the New Testament, and it does not describe a 50-50 request.
When I dug into it, I found four English words that translate it better than "ask" ever could. Four words that change how you read Matthew 7:7 forever.
I'm not going to list them here. That's what the kit is for. But I'll tell you this much: once you see them, you can't unsee them.
And the word for "receive"? In the Greek, it's not a passive catch. It's a grip.
And if your next thought is "but what about asking according to His will?" (1 John 5:14), or "doesn't James say people ask amiss?" (James 4:3), good. You're paying attention.
Those verses don't say what you've been told they say, and video 4 takes them head on, in context, no dodging.
This isn't treating God like a vending machine. It's finding out what's already yours in the covenant, and learning to take hold of it the way that woman in Mark 5 did.
One more thing. In the last session I tell you about the butterfly prayer.
My daughter, second grade, prayed one of those sweet, specific prayers only a kid can pray. And it looked for all the world like God ignored her. It almost broke her faith at seven years old.
I sat her down and told her there were only two options for what happened, and only one of them could be true. I'll give you both options in video 4.
If you're a parent who's ever worried about passing 50-50 prayer down to your kids, that session alone is worth the whole kit.
"This is still SO crazy to me, but that's what the scripture actually says so I believe it. Asking God is not a 50/50 thing like I was taught my whole life!"
"Asking and receiving has a new meaning in my life. I was taught totally different back in the day."
"Now I don't expect bad things from a good God. I am truly loved by God. If I can give my children good things, God loves me way more than that."
"Quit praying wimpy prayers!!! ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE!!! Great lesson!!"

And no, you don't have to make every live call to belong here. Come when you can, catch up when you can't. The only way to lose this one is to not show up at all.
When I made this offer to the live group, the chat spoke for itself. 16 people joined the Academy within 24 hours.
I'm a Bible teacher and the author of 12+ books. Over 60,000 people follow the teaching on YouTube and about 45,000 believers read my daily devotional every morning. My wife Rachel and I teach together inside the Increase Academy.
Here's the simplest way I can describe what we do: we teach believers what the book actually says. Not what religion assumed. Not what tradition passed down. What's on the page, in the original language, in context. That's where this whole Ask & Receive study came from, and it's why grown adults who've been in church their whole lives keep telling us they're seeing these verses for the first time.
If you try the Academy and it's not for you, you can self-cancel with one click. We won't know. We won't hold it against you. We'll still be best friends.
And the Ask & Receive Study Kit? Still yours. Forever. That's the deal.
You've prayed the 50-50 prayer long enough. And here's the honest truth about waiting: if nothing changes, your prayer life a year from now looks exactly like it does today. Same wondering. Same wishing. Come see what the word "ask" has meant this whole time, and what your hand is supposed to do about it.
START MY FREE 7-DAY TRIALP.S. If you skipped to the bottom, here's the short version. The Ask & Receive Study Kit (all 4 videos, the 15-page study guide, and the complete teaching notes, a $111 value) is $17, or free when you start a 7-day trial of the Increase Academy. You keep the kit forever either way, even if you cancel. And the woman in Mark 5? She was healed before Jesus ever turned around. Video 3 will show you how, and why it changes how you pray.
